These
classes will teach the basics of Haitian
folklore. They will include the basic
dance movements and how they are put
together to create exciting
choreographies. Movements will include
Ibo, Yanvalou, Rara, Banda, Zepol, Petro,
Congo, Nago etc. Over a period of time,
you will move on to the more advanced
movements. There is an intensive warm
up period before each class and most
dances are very energetic.
Whether you want to dance just for fun,
for exercise, to stay in shape, for
education or to become a professional
folklore dancer, you will have an
enjoyable time during these sessions.
You're never to young or too old to
learn the beautiful movements of Haitian
Folklore.
