ON THURSDAY MAY 8TH, SOBS is bringing you
another evening of Organic Caribbean Soul
Music, featuring some of the top Caribbean
Soul Artists from the New York area.
Caribbean Soul is the intriguing sounds of
Soul Music infused with Calypso, Konpa,
Steel band and Reggae music. These artists
are veterans of this movement. They are all
well known and are part of this organic
movement. In today's world, where the Music
Industry is going through critical changes,
fans are reaching globally to suit their
musical taste. Perhaps, Caribbean Soul is a
breath of well needed fresh air for all of
us. Don't miss out on this show. It's going
to be a true experience.

MICHOU: Young Haitian American
Singer/ Songwriter, she has been singing and
playing guitar since the age of 6 years old.
She has performed all over, from France, to
The West Indies, MICHOU has done it, most
people compare her to a female version of
the artist “SEAL” and when you hear her
soulful voice, and her sultry guitar
playing, you know she is the truth.
EARTHMAN: Another artist out
of Haiti/ USA, this young man has been
making hits in the American Charts for many
years, he was the one who sang and produced
the major Dance Music Hit song titled “I SAY
SHUT UP” and many other hits. After Years of
making hits in the Dance Music scene,
Earthman made the natural progression, which
is Caribbean Soul.
JAHXTIX: Jahstix started his
musical career on the streets of new york
city, busking for a living in the subway "
undergound train stations”. There he honed
his skills playing a blend of his own songs
and those of his numerous heroes / sheroes.
Just him and his acoustic guitar. He played
everything from Bob Marley to Jimi hendrix
to Tracy Chapman to Stevie wonder to David
ryan harris to Seal etc…and from the NY
Subways, to touring with most of the major
artists in the industry, don’t miss this
opportunity to hear Jahstix. And as
appetizer, we are bringing you MADAFI who is
a really hot upcoming Neo-Soul/R&B artist
from Haiti/ New York, she just released her
new album, she is really hot. And also,
MANZE DAYILA, the lady with the golden Roots
voice, Manze’s music and vocals speak for
itself. This
